After ready the letter from Eliza I couldn't help but cry in the middle of class. It was so heartwarming to have been best friends with someone for such a long time and to have that kind of love and respect for one another. I will defiantly be writing her a very long letter later. But it hasn't just been Eliza, my other BFF Emma gave me headphones and candy. She knew I needed some and so she got some. Literally crying on the inside, as someone who never feels love, to actually see the love these people have for me is just, uh. There are no words. I'm so lucky to have these people in my lives, to have this undying support and love.
However, I have to give a shout out to Adam. Today Adam came to school with a bag filled with presents for nearly everyone in the grade. He's the real Santa this Christmas. People say he doesn't exist, but he does, in many forms and ways. He's the man that gives to the homeless, he's the woman who works extra to buy presents for her kids, and he;s the boy who just wants to give everyone a happy Christmas. Adam probably doesn't realize how much he selfless act has affected me and others, but he just made so many people's days. Maybe even their year. People say the world as grown cruel, but Christmas gives us the chance to love each other. To push aside differences and prejudices and just appreciate everything we have.
So I wish you a Merry Christmas, and even if I don't know you, know that you are loved by so many people. You just have to look in the right place.
